for Admission

Important Information
1. Any omission/error should be brought to the notice of the respective Head of
the Department immediately.
2. All admissions are provisional.
3. Candidate will have to bring/submit the following at the time of
interview and admission (if selected):
(a) Print-out of the submitted on-line application,
b) 5 copies of recent
passport-size photograph,
(c) original and attested copies of marksheets &
Admit Card/Certificate of Secondary level and Higher Secondary level
Examinations,
(d) Original and attested copies of SC/ST/PD Certificate from
competent authority, if applicable, at the time of interview,
(e) Family income
certificate from competent authority will be required at the time of admission,
(f) Original ‘Candidate’s copy’ of pay-in-slip, provided by the Bank, as a
proof of depositing the money.
4. Failure to appear at the Interview on the specified date and time will lead
to rejection of candidature without further reference to the candidate.
5. Other details are given in the ‘Instruction Sheet’ on the website.
6. Amount of money required for admission of each selected candidate is
Rs. 1900.00 (approx).
7. Orientation/Commencement of Classes on 27.07.2015(Monday) tentatively.
8. For further details contact with the respective Head of the Departments.
9. Ragging is totally banned in the Jadavpur University Campuses including
hostel premises and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging
is liable to be punished appropriately. If any incident of ragging comes to
the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to
explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would
expel him from the institution.
10. Moreover, selected students and his/her father/guardian will be required
to submit an Anti-Ragging Affidavit
Hostel Accommodation
Students who want to apply for hostel
accommodation are advised to submit duly filled-in application form for hostel
boardership along with attachment as mentioned in the application form (address
proof, income certificate issued by the authority mentioned in the application
form) on the day of admission. Hostel Bordership Application Form will also be
available on the day of admission. No hostel bordership
application form (filled-in) will be accepted after the day of admission. Click
