Primary Teacher Recruitment in GSF Cossipore

Gun & Shell Factory, Cossipore, Kolkata, is inviting application for total 63 posts of –Primary Teacher, Pharmacist, Midwife, Lower Division Clerk, Storekeeper, Medical Assistant, Cook and Multi Tasking Staff. Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the Factory.

1. Primary Teacher: 1 (OBC)

Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE

OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)

OR Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
AND Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Desirable — Competence to teach both in English/ Hindi and medium of instruction of the school i.e. Bengali.

Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

Age: 18 to 30yrs.

2. Pharmacist: 1 (UR)

Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with Science subjects. Candidate should possess Certificate as Registered Pharmacist having passed two years diploma course with three months training in Pharmacy

Desirable — Should have working knowledge of Computers.

Age: 18 to 32yrs.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-

3. Midwife: 3 (UR)

Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science subjects and 02 years Auxiliary Nursing Midwife Course and registered with respective Nursing Council. Must have working knowledge of Computers.

Desirable— Knowledge of Hindi and local language i.e. Bengali.

Age: 18 to 27yrs

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-

4. Lower Division Clerk: 33 (UR—17; SC—03; ST—02; OBC—11) Out of them Ex-Serv.—03, PH(VH)—1

Qualification: 12th Class or equivalent pass AND shall possess Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer

Age: 18 to 27yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

5. Storekeeper: 06 (UR—3; SC—2; OBC—1)

Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent

Desirable— Basic knowledge of computer having O Level certificate as per DOEACC

Age: 18 to 27yrs.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

6. Medical Assistant: 07 (UR—4; SC—2; OBC—1). Out of them Ex-Serv. – 01.

Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent and have done a course of Instructions in First-Aid from a recognized Institution/St. John’s Ambulance. Should have knowledge of First-Aid and Operation Theatre and Sterilization procedure.

Desirable—Basic knowledge of computer.

Age: 18 to 27yrs

7. Cook (NIE): 04 (UR)

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must possess knowledge of cooking and Hospital diets.

Age: 18 to 32yrs.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

8. Cook (Canteen): 03 (UR—2; OBC—1)

Qualification: Matriculation pass and one year experience in the trade,

Age: 18 to 27yrs

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

9. Multi Tasking Staff: 05 (UR—3; ST—1; OBC—1). Out of them Ex-Serv.—01.

Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent.

Age: 18 to 25yrs

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-
