Eastern Railway – Carriage & Wagon Workshop, Liluah invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for 525 posts of Act Apprentices in different Trades, viz. – Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, Turner, Electrician, Reg & AC Mechanic and Wireman.

2. Machinist  18 posts (UR-9; SC-3; ST-1; OBC-5)
3. Painter (G)  60 posts. (UR-30; SC-9; ST-5; OBC-16)
4. Welder (G&E)  75 posts. (UR-38; SC-11; ST-06; OBC-20)
5. Turner  18 posts (UR-9; SC-3; ST-1; OBC-5)
6. Electrician  95 posts (UR-48; SC-14; ST-7; OBC-26)
7. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Mech)  03 posts (UR-2; OBC-1)
8. Wireman  28 posts (UR-14; SC-4; ST-2; OBC-8)

Educational Qualification  Matriculation/ Class 10 pass with minimum 50% marks AND ITI certificate from an institute affiliated to NCVT in relevant trade.

Age Limit  Completed 15 years of age but should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01/07/2015 as on 01/07/2015

Upper Age Relaxation  Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others
