Recruitment of ASHA Facilitator for Haldibari and Mekliganj Block

Office of the SDO, Mekliganj, Cooch Behar is inviting application from the eligible and interested candidates for recruitment of 04 ASHA Facilitator against vacant posts.

Post: ASHA Facilitator

Number of posts: 04 (02 for Haldibari block and 02 for Mekliganj block) (Gen-2; SC-2)

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Masters’ degree in Social Science / Sociology / Social Anthropology / Social Work (MSW) / Business Administration (MBA) / Economics / Rural Development / Mass Communication.

Candidates with Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 2 years experience in health projects can also apply.

Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in ASHA programme.

Knowledge of MS Office and Internet is required.

Age Limit: Maximum 40yrs as on 01/01/2014

Consolidated Pay: Rs.7500/- plus Rs.1500/- as monthly mobility support per month.

Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC

Selection Procedure: Candidates must be resident of Mekliganj Sub-Division. Candidates will be engaged on contractual basis for a period of one year which may be extended further.

The selection will be based on academic result, experience in health projects and written test. Written test will be of 50 marks and computer skill Test of 25 marks.
