Kalinga
Institute of Industrial Technology – KIIT Bhubaneswar has released an admission
notification. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the following
programmes.

of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing
Master
of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing
Doctor
of Medicine (MD)
Master
of Dental Surgery (MDS)
Eligibility criteria
MBBS/BDS: The candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and English, having obtained at least 50 percent marks in
Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together for general category candidates
and 40 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together for SC/ST
candidates.
MDS: The candidates must have passed final
BDS examination and should have completed one year compulsory rotatory
internship from a recognised dental college, on or before
March 31, 2016.
MD: The candidates must possess a M.B.B.S. degree from a
recognised medical college of India or a foreign medical degree and must have
obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of
the state medical councils after completing compulsory rotating internship.
B.Sc
Nursing: The candidates should have passed
Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and
English (PCBE), having acquired at least 45 percent marks in aggregate.
M.Sc
Nursing: The
candidate should be a registered nurse or midwife or equivalent with any state
nursing registration council. He/she must have passed B.Sc Nursing/B.Sc Hons
Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum 55 percent aggregate marks.
Selection
procedure
For
MD/MDS programmes, an entrance exam will be conducted. For all the other
courses, the candidates will have to appear for Kalinga Institute of
Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE 2016).

Admit
card for MD/MS programmes can be downloaded till January 28, 2016
Entrance
exam for MD/MS programmes will be held on January 28, 2016
Last
date to apply online for other medical programmes is March 20, 2016
Last
date of receiving filled in application form for other medical programmes is
March 25, 2016
KIITEE
2016 will be held from April 21 to 30, 2016
Results
will be declared on May 15, 2016
