Post. Postman/ Mail guard
Number of vacancy: 439
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 27 January 2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be through Aptitude Test/Written Test consists of class 10/Matriculation level subjects/topics, viz – General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Regional Language.
Examination will be at following centres – Kolkata, Siliguri, Gangtok, Port Blair, Midnapore and Howrah
