West Bengal Central School Service Commission Recruitment of Assistant Teacher Upper Primary

The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (West Bengal SSC) is inviting application for 1st State Level Selection Test for Recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Govt. aided / Sponsored Schools (Except Hill Region). Both Trained and untrained candidates with TET qualification of year 2011 and 2015 are eligible to apply.

 Important Information 

Total Number of Vacancies: 14088 Posts.

Eligibility: Only candidates who have qualified Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), year 2011 & 2015 ccan apply.

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 40 years.  Upper age limit is however relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, 3 years for Backward Class candidates and 8 years for the Physically Handicapped Candidates.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of merit weightage of TET, Academic, Professional Qualification and marks obtained in personality test

Application Fee: Rs.250/- for General and OBC candidates whereas Rs.80/- for SC/ST & PH candidates. Candidates shall pay Rs.5/- as Bank charges additionally.
Fee can be paid Online through Debit/Credit Card or Net banking. Fee can be also paid through Allahabad Bank (during banking hours) by means of Cash-e-Challan which will be generated automatically upon successful submission of online application form.
