Odisha Joint Entrance Examination JEE 2017 Notification



Odisha JEE 2017 will be conducted for admission to first year degree Courses in Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/Pharmacy; 5 years Integrated MBA Program, Lateral admission to 2nd year Pharmacy/Engineering/Technology/MCA and 1st year MCA, MBA, M.Tech/M.Pharm/M. Arch/M.Plan Programs

In the year 2017, admission to B.Tech/B.Arch/Int. M.Sc Program will be done through JEE Main 2017 score. Candidates are required to apply for JEE Main 2017.

In the year 2017, admission to MBBS & BDS Program will be done through NEET 2017. Candidates who are seeking admission to mentioned program are required to apply for NEET 2017.

1st Sitting - - Phy./Chemistry (for 1st yr Pharmacy /Homoeopathy /Ayurveda)/Test for MBA/Test for LE (2nd yr) (Diploma) to Engg/Technology

2nd Sitting - - Mathematics for 1st year Pharmacy/Test for B.Sc (+3 Sc) Lateral Entry to Engg (2nd year)/Test for LE (Pharma)/Test for M.Pharm/Int. MBA/M.Plan

3rd Sitting - - Biology for 1st year Pharmacy/Homoeopathy/Ayurveda

3rd Sitting - - Test for 1st yr MCA/Test for LE (2nd yr) to MCA/Test for PGAT (PG Admission Test) for M.Tech/M.Tech (PT)/M.Arch
Eligibility Criteria for OJEE 2017
(a) For admission to Pharmacy

Odisha JEE admission to 1st Year Degree Courses in Pharmacy BAMS /BHMS
For Pharmacy: Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 Science Exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject

The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together

There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into Pharmacy courses

For BHMS BAMS: Candidates should have Passed in 10+2 Science or appearing in 2017 Exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany & Zoology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) for general category candidates and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates

The lower age shall be 17 years as on 31st December 2017. The candidates have to submit HSC or equivalent certificate in support of age during certificate verification at the time of counseling

For admission into 2nd year, Degree Courses in Engg /Tech Courses under Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders: Candidates should have passed or appearing in 2017, in three year diploma exam (two-year in case of lateral entry diploma) in Engg from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute/from a recognized

University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology

Results of final diploma exam must be available on the date of document verification during counselling

There is no reservation of seats in various categories in lateral entry to degree Engineering/Technology (B.Tech) courses

There is no age limit to admission to this course

For Pharmacy Courses (2nd year under Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders): Candidates should have passed or appearing in 2017 in diploma exam in two years diploma course after XII standard in Pharmacy with minimum 45% (40% in case of candidate belong to SC/ST category) of marks in aggregate from Odisha State Board of Pharmacy (OSBP) or SCTE&VT or from an AICTE approved Institution/from a recognized University as defined by UGC for direct admission to the third semester degree courses

Results of final diploma examination must be available on the date of document verification. There is no reservation of seats in lateral entry to degree Pharmacy courses. There is no age limit to admission to this course

For Engg/Technology (2nd year under Lateral Entry for B.Sc/+3 Sc Students): Passed or appearing in 2017, for the Bachelor’s Degree Exam of three years duration in Science from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC category) and must have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject


For Master Degree in Computer Application: Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017, for the bachelor’s degree exam of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any university of Odisha or from a recognized university as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam; if the candidate has passed BCA with mathematics as a subject, he/she may appear the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level

There is no age limit to admission to MCA course

For MCA (Lateral Entry to 2nd year): Passed or appearing in 2017, for the bachelor’s degree exam of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) from any University of Odisha or from a recognized university as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit to admission to 2nd year MCA under lateral entry course

For MBA Program: Candidates should have passed or appearing in 2017, Bachelor’s Degree Exam of minimum three years duration from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE (or)

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit to for admission to MBA course

For admission to M.Tech/M.Tech (PT)/M.Pharm/M.Arch: Candidates should have completed bachelor’s degree in degree from a recognized college or university. Candidates having 2 years of experience in either education or industry are eligible to apply

For M.Pharm: Passed or appearing in 2017 Bachelor’s Degree of Exam or equivalent in Pharmacy from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit for admission to M.Pharm course

For M.Arch: Passed or appearing in 2017 Bachelor’s Degree of Exam in the relevant field in Architecture from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit for admission to M.Arch course

For MAM: Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent. The candidate should have passed all the individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in all the subjects taken together

There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into MAM courses

For M.Plan: A pass in recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Planning, Civil Engg or Master’s Degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social works with specialisation in Community Development and Rural Development

Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree exam

For admission to Integrated MBA (5years): Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent; the candidate should have passed all the individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in all the subjects taken together

There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into Integrated MBA (5years) courses
