• For studying an Honours Course, a candidate must secure the prescribed cut off marks, for General Courses, minimum pass marks in aggregate.
• In practical based subjects pass marks to be obtained separately in theory and practical parts.
Merit Point for Honours courses (M) = Y + Z
Merit Point for General courses (M) = Y
(Y=% of marks (Best performed language plus best scoring three elective subjects without ENVS) at H.S./ equivalent exams; Z =% of marks in Honours seeking subject/ allied subject.
• No marks will be deducted from merit point for year lapse i.e. for passing in 2014, 2015 & 2016
• Admission will be made cycle wise, each cycle comprising a number of phases.
• After the publication of provisional merit list some time will be given to applicants for seeking correction of errors if any (written application with documents to be submitted).
• In case of oversight of error on the part of the student and detection of the same at the time of verification, a student may apply for correction which may be entertained only after the end of that particular cycle.
• The provisional admission is to be ultimately approved by the affiliating University to which every admitted student is to apply for Registration and Enrolment. The college cannot be
held responsible if the Board issuing certificate of passing is not recognized by competent authority.
• Registered Applicants who have not got chance for admission to any of the four opted courses may change their option (maximum two) following notification subject to the following conditions:
1. There must be a subject in which all the applicants have been offered chance for admission but seats are still vacant.
2. The applicant exercises her option by surrendering the stipulated number of subjects of first option.
3. The candidate fulfils the eligibility criteria for studying the subject.
4. For exercising such option the name of the candidate will be automatically deleted from the merit list of the subject she is surrendering for the purpose of re-option.
