Date of written test for Ph.D. Entrance Examination – 16.02.2017 ( 12:00 noon. – 2:00 p.m.)
Date of Interview for the candidates qualified – 22.02.2017 & 23.02.2017 (11:30 a.m. onwards)
Maximum Number of seats available for the Ph.D. Programme – 25 [ Reservation regarding SC/ST and others will be followed as per rules ]
Syllabus – Topics covered in B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. courses in Pure Mathematics (excluding topics covered in elective papers).
Venue of the Admission Test and Interview – Department of Pure Mathematics, University of Calcutta, 35, B.C.Road, Kolkata – 700019.
Deadline for application – 10.02.2017
The list of successful candidates in the entrance test will be displayed in the departmental Notice Board on 17.02.2017 (after 3:30 pm).
