Assembly poll results of Hingalganj constituency



Constituency number: 126

In 2016 assembly election, Debesh Mondal of Trinamool Congress won Hingalganj assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Ananada Mondal of CPI (M).

In 2011 assembly election, Ananada Mondal of CPI won Hingalganj assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Debesh Mondal of Trinamool Congress. Ananada Mondal got 72,741 votes, Debesh Mondal got 71,726 votes and Ratikanta Baulia of BJP got 7,533 votes.
In 2006 West Bengal assembly polls, Gopal Gayen of CPI (M) defeated her nearest rival Debes Mandal of Trinamool Congress.

In 2001 West Bengal assembly polls, CPI (M) nominated candidate Nripen Gayen defeated his nearest rival Sourendra Mondal of Trinamool Congress.

In 1996 West Bengal assembly polls, Nripen Gayen of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Bidyut Kayal of Congress.

In 1991 West Bengal assembly polls, Nripen Gayen of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Sankar Roy of Congress.

In 1987 West Bengal assembly polls, Sudhanshu Mondal of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Aditya Mondal of Congress.

In 1982 West Bengal assembly polls, Sudhanshu Mondal of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Amal Krishna Mistry of Congress.
