West Bengal assembly election results of Manbazar constituency



Constituency number: 243


In 2011 assembly election, Sandhyarani Tudu of  Trinamool Congress won Manbazar assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Himani Hansda  of CPI (M). Sandhyarani Tudu got 78,520 votes, Himani Hansda got 73,354 votes and Gouri Sardar of BJP got 4,476 votes.


In 2006 state assembly elections, Shamya Pyari Mahato of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Kamakshya Prasad Singh Deo of Trinamool Congress.


In 2001 West Bengal assembly elections, CPI (M) nominated candidate Shamya Pyari Mahato won this seat defeating Sitaram Mahato of Trinamool Congress.


In 1996 state assembly elections, Kamalakanta Mahato of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Sitaram Mahato of Congress. For consecutive four times, Kamalakanta Mahato of CPI (M) won from this seat.


In 1991 state assembly elections, Kamalakanta Mahato of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Nirmal Prasad Mahato of Congress.


In 1987 state assembly elections, Kamalakanta Mahato of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Sitaram Mahato of Congress.


In 1982 state assembly elections, Kamalakanta Mahato of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Sitaram Mahato of Congress.


In 1977 state assembly elections, Nakul Chandra Mahato of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Sitaram Mahato of Congress.


In 1972 state assembly elections, Sitaram Mahato of Congress won this  Manbazar assembly seat.


In 1971 state assembly elections, Sitaram Mahato of Congress won this assembly seat.


In 1969 state assembly elections, Sitaram Mahato of Congress won this assembly seat.
