West Bengal assembly poll results of Nayagram constituency


Constituency number: 220

In 2011 assembly election, Dulal Murmu of Trinamool Congress won Nayagram assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Bhutnath Soren of CPI (M). Dulal Murmu got 75,656 votes, Bhutnath Soren got 59,382 votes and Chitta Ranjan Hembram of BJP got 8,304 votes.


In 2006 state assembly polls, Bhutnath Saren of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Shunaram Mahali of Trinamool Congress.


In 2001 West Bengal assembly polls, CPI (M) nominated candidate Bhutnath Saren won this seat defeating Mangal Hansda of JMM.


In 1996 state assembly polls, Subhas Chandra Saren of CPI (M)  defeated his nearest rival Madhu Sudan Saren of Congress.


In 1991 state assembly polls, Ananta Saren of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Bishnu Saren of Jharkhand Party.


In 1987 state assembly polls, Ananta Saren of CPI (M) won this assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Dasarathi Saren of Congress.


In 1982 state assembly polls, Ananta Saren of CPI (M) won this assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Liba Chand Tudu, an Independent candidate.


In 1977 state assembly polls, Budhadeb Singh of CPI (M) won this assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Subodh Handa of Janata Party.


In 1972 state assembly polls, Dasarathi Saren of Congress won this  Nayagram assembly seat.


In 1971 state assembly polls, Dasarathi Saren of Congress won this assembly seat.


In 1969 state assembly polls, Jagarati Hansda of Bangla Congress won this assembly seat.


In 1967 state assembly polls, Jagarati Hansda of Bangla Congress won this assembly seat.
