Admission Notice for
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) 2015
1. Candidates who have passed H.S. or
equivalent examination from recognized regular Council / Board will be eligible
for admission to B.A. 1st year Honours and General course for 2015-16 Session.
2. Students who have passed H.S. or
equivalent examination on or after 2012 are eligible for admission to B.A. 1st
year Honours & General courses for 2015-2016 Session.
3. 5% for 2014 10% for 2013 of merit
position will be deducted per year of those students who have passed H.S. or
equivalent examination before 2015.
4. No student will be allowed to take more
than one subject from English, Bengali and Sanskrit elective subject at General
Course.
5. No student will be allowed to take both
Sociology and Education as elective subjects at General Courses.
6. No Honours student will be allowed to
take Geography as elective (General / Pass) subject.
Merit List for
Geography General (Pass) admission will be prepared on the basis of Grand Total
of Best five including English but excluding EVS.
Grand Total will be
calculated on the basis of Grand total of best five subjects including English
and excluding EVS.
Admission Procedure for
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) 2015
Application for
admission should be made in prescribed from. Admission in all cases will be
conditional on payment of requisite fees. At the time of admission registration
form must be filled up.
Documents required to be
submitted at the time of admission
1. Attested copies of Marks sheet and
Certificate of qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary or equivalent (Three
Copies).
2. Attested copy of age verification
certificate (Madhyamik Passed Certificate) (Three Copies).
3. Attested copy of SC / ST / OBC
Certificate (Three Copies).
4. Attested copy of BPL Ration Card (Three
Copies).
5. Three copies of attested stamp size
recent photos. (One to be pasted on the space of application form, one to be
pasted on the Student Identity Card and one to be pasted on particulars of
student card.)
6. Original School Leaving Certificate.
