Admission to Integrated MSc in Birla Institute of Technology Programme 2015

Admission process for Integrated M.Sc in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra for the session 2015-16 for eligible Class XII pass-out aspiring has been started. This is a 5-year (10-semester) Integrated M.Sc course.

Eligibility Criteria

Chemistry: Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology

Mathematics & Computing: Pass in Class 12/ equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

Physics: Pass in Class 12/ equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

Food Technology: Pass in Class 12/ equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

Age limit

For general and OBC: Date of birth should be on or after 1 October 1990
For SC / ST / PWD: Date of birth should be on or after 1 October 1985.

Important Features

One application form can be applied for onle one programme. Separate application forms are needed for 2 or more programmes

Name and Address of the candidate needs to be mentioned on the reverse of the Demand Draft

Candidates should retain photocopies of the Demand Draft and online application form submitted for future reference

Candidate must have adequate proficiency in written & spoken English to cope with the programme as all instruction and examinations will be in English only
