Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Narendrapur Class XI Admission 2016 Notification

Admission notification for class XI for the year 2016 at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur. Only boys now reading in ClassX are eligible for admission test for class XI. 

Admission to class XI, 2015-16 (for students from outside schools)

1.       Only a few selected students from other schools passing the secondary Level Examinations from WBBSE / CBSE / ICSE in the year 2015 may be admitted to the science Stream after an Aptitude Test.

Medium of Instruction : English. Subjects offered : Bengali / Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology / Statistics.

2.       Students willing to apply must secure at least 285 marks (out of 300) in the Science Group and 150 marks (out of 200) in the Language Group.

Students, having faith in the objectives of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, physically fit and mentally prepared to stay in this Residential School and have the inclination towards living and studying on their own, may apply.

3.       A written Aptitude Test in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be held within a week or so from the date of publication of Madhyamik Results. The Written Test will be of 3 (three) hours duration (one hour each for each subject) and will carry 50 each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Students should have a good knowledge of the basic concepts or fundamentals of the subjects taught in the Secondary Level. A brief outline of the syllabus is given overleaf.

4.       OFFLINE : Application Forms and Prospectus will be available for Rs. 300/- only for 4 (Four) days (excluding Sundays and holidays) in the School office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from the day of publication of results of the Madhyamik Pariksha, 2015.

ONLINE : Application form for admission to class XI (2015-16) will be available for download (please use 75 GSM A4 size white paper) online from our website for four days (excluding Sundays and holidays) from the day of publication of results of the Madhyamik Pariksha, 2015.

The filled application form along with all necessary documents and Demand Draft favour of “RKM Vidyalaya, Narendrapur” for Rs. 300.00 (Rupees three hundred only) should be submitted by hand in our school office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on all working days within two days from the last date of issue of application forms.

Application forms send through post / courier won’t be accepted.

5.       Following documents are required for filling in the form :

i)         4 copies of the passport size (2.5´3.5) photo ;

ii)       SC/ST/OBC Certificate, if applicable ;

iii)      Self-attested photocopy of the Registration Certificate, Admit Card and Marksheet of the Secondary Examination ;

iv)     Certificate regarding co-curricular activities, if any.

v)       Income Certificate.

6.       Candidates are required to collect Admit-Card of the Aptitude Test at the time of submission of the Application Form.

7.       List of selected students qualifying at the Aptitude Test will be published within a week. After Oral Test, final selection list will be published.

Admission is to be made within 2 (two) days from the date of publication of the final Selection List.

8.       Fees & Charges :

Details of fees and charges can be had from the School office or from our website.

9.       No permission to take tuitions or for attending mock tests outside the school campus is given.

10.    Financial concession may be given to a few deserving students only.
