1.Candidates who have passed in the B.Sc. (Hons) examination of Calcutta University or equivalent in the year 2016 are eligible to apply.

3. Seats for General Merit Category:

Calcutta University – 17%
Other Universities – 12%

4.Other Reservation of Seats:

SC – 22%,
ST – 6%,
PH – 3%,
Christian – 30%,

5.Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply in the General Merit category. 40% for SC/ST/Christian applicants

6.Applicants for the Chemistry course should have passed in Mathematics and Physics/Computer Science as elective subjects at the U.G. level.
