Bengali Film Goheen Hriday Story Cast and Crew

Actress Rituparna Sengupta has nothing to prove in Bengali film industry. The actress herself is an institution now for Bengali films. Rituparna will again be seen in a critical character in film Gaheen Hriday by director Agnidev Chatterjee and based on author Suchitra Bhattacharya's best-selling novel of the same name. 

Rituparna Sengupta plays the role of Sohini who is married to Bhaskar, played by Debshankar. Sohini is caught in a complex relationship between Bhaskar and Anupam, friend of Bhaskar. Kaushik Roy plays the role of Anupam. Sohini is determined to settle with Anupam leaving her husband, Bhaskar and at this point the story reaches the climax. Bhaskar is diagnosed with Cancer.

What should Sohini do? Marriage is not just a bond between husband and wife. The film shows how the wife of a cancer patient handles the crisis.

Shooting of film Gaheen Hriday to start from November

Director Agnidev Chatterjee is all set start the shooting of film Gaheen Hriday based on novel of late author Suchitra Bhattacharya.

Rituparna Sengupta, Kaushik Sen and Debshankar Haldar are playing the pivotal roles in the film which deals on man-woman relationship and marriage.

Rituparna and Debshankar are married couple in the film Gaheen Hriday. Ritu decides to divorce her husband and settle down with Kaushik Sen. Kaushik is friend of Debshankar. At this point of the story, Rituparna comes to know that her husband has been diagnosed with cancer. The film takes a turn from this point.

The other actors in film Gaheen Hriday are Locket Chatterjee, Shankar Chakraborty, Sohag Sen, Biplab Chatterjee and Kalyani Mondal.  Shooting of the film will start from 16 November and the locations are around Kolkata and Mandarmani.

Dinesh has a relationship with bar dancer Mona. Mona wants to marry Dinesh but her dream is not fulfilled. Rabi is the owner of a cheap bar where Mona works and she is a victim of Rabi's lust, the villain in the film. Nisha breaks the relationship with her husband as she comes to know about the relationship between Dinesh and Mona. Film Gohin Hriday revolves around a couple, Sohini and Bhaskar. Sohini is dissatisfied in her marriage with Bhaskar and wants to divorce him and pursue a relationship with Anupam, friend of Bhaskar. Upto this point there is nothing uncommon in the film but the story takes a turn when Bhaskar is diagnosed with cancer.

Both Bhaskar and Sohini are puzzled and gradually they realized the actual meaning of love and relationship.

Film Gohin Hriday is going to be the third film of Rituparna Sengupta after Dahan and Alik Sukh, based on Suchitra Bhattacharya's novels.

Music holds the key in the film Maya Mridanga. The film revolves around folk artistes of Birbhum and Murshidabad. Driven by illusion, an artiste loses interest in his family. He is misinterpreted by society; his artistic confidence misunderstood as arrogance. His impatience passed off as madness. On the one hand, he gets love from people; on the other hand, he suffers from dissatisfaction.

Sex, live in relationship, homosexuality, man with two wives, every thing is there in this film.
