JEE Main 2016 Rank list out

Joint Entrance Exam Main 2016 rank list has been announced on 23 June and can be viewed from official websites – http://www.josaa.nic.in. About 12 lakh students have appeared for the off-line mode.
The All India Ranks (AIR) of the candidates will be based on their JEE Main score (60 per cent weightage) and Class 12 scores (40 per cent weightage).

WBJEE Admit Card 2016 will be available from 3 May on its main web portal. WBJEE Written test 2016 exam will be held on 17 May 2016. 

How to Download the WBJEE Admit Card 2016

Browse the official Web portal of the Directorate of Government Examinations.

Now search for WBJEE Admit Card 2016

Fill the given blanks with registration number and date of birth.

Now Click on submit button

Candidates Admit Card will appear on the screen.

Download and take a copy of the Admit Card/Hall Ticket for the examination purpose.

VTEEE 2016 Slot booking for engineering entrance exam

The students appearing for Vellore Institute of Technology's engineering entrance exam VITEEE 2016 have to book their slot which begins from today (18 March 2016). This will continue for three days. The slot booking process will end on March 20, 2016. Slot booking can be done from www.vit.ac.in.

The online tests for VITEEE 2016 will be conducted between 6 April 6 to 17 April.

For slot booking login user name and password has been sent to the candidates email ID and mobile number.

Once the slot booking is done, the test city, date and slot timings cannot be changed.

Important Points

The slot booking will be done through OTBS- online test booking system, a web based system for online scheduling which is available at vit.ac.in presently for entrance exams.

The slot booking for VITEEE are ‘first-come first served basis’ and is subjected to the availability of test centre, date and time.

The slot booking by each candidate should be completed within specified dates and no request will be entertained after that. Also, only the candidates whose applications have been accepted, will be able to book the slot for VITEEE 2016.

Once the booking is complete, e-admit cards will be sent to the candidates via e-mail IDs containing the confirmation of test centre and rest of all details. E-admit card must be downloaded before the exam and at least one copy shall be taken along at the time of exam with a valid ID proof.

BITSAT-2016 Test Format

It is a 3 hour test, offered to candidates on computers at dedicated centers in different cities in India and at the Dubai campus
The test consists of four parts:
Part I: Physics
Part II: Chemistry
Part III: (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning
Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates)
All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice
Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1mark). No marks are awarded for questions not attempted
While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as correct answer; there will be 150 questions in all
