To manage extra rush of Passengers in during Ganesh Chaturthi, South Central Railway  will run four special trains between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam as detailed below:-

Train No. 07016 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam special train will start from Secunderabad at 17:55 hrs o­n 24th August, 2017 (Thursday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:50 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07015 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train will start from Visakhapatnam at 17:00 hrs o­n 27th August, 2017 (Sunday) and arrive Secunderabad at 05:50 hrs o­n the next day.

Summer Special Trains between Gorakhpur - Maduadih and Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus

North Central Railway will run two summer special trains to manage the rush of passengers during this summer season.  The summer special trains are between Gorakhpur and Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Maduadih and Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Gorakhpur and Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus

Train number 01047/041048 Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus-Gorakhpur will run twice a week. Train number 01047 will start from CSTM on every Friday and Tuesday starting from 14 April to 18 April. The summer special train halt at Dadar, Nasik Road, Bhusawal, Itarasi, Jabalpur, Cheoki, Varanasi, Bhatni and reach Gorakhpur.

On its journey towards CSTM, train number 01048 would run on every Saturday and Wednesday, starting from 15 April to 19 April.

Composition: The train would have 15 sleeper class coaches.

Maduadih and Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus

Train number 01181 will start from Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus on every Saturday from 15 April to 10 June. Train number 01182 would start from Madhuadih on every Sunday and operate from 16 April to 11 June. This train will have Five third AC coach and Eight sleeper coaches.

To clear the extra rush of a large number of devotees from various part of India to go to  Allahabad for Holi dip at Sangam during the Makar Sankranti on 14^th January,Mauni Amavasya on 30^th January, Basanta Panchami on 4^th February, Maghi Purnima on 14^th February and Mahashivaratri on 27^th February ongoing Magh Mela Rituals 2014,Railways have decided to run the following special trains and augmentation of extra coaches in various trains to bring pilgrims to the Holi City of Sangam :
