Rimjhim Gupta is a TV serial and film actress and she will tie the knot with Nilanjan Ghosh, an IT professional on 18 January 2015. Rimjhim is the daughter of reporter-novelist Valmiki Chottopadhyay and actress Moumita Gupta.

Marriage venue of Rimjhim Gupta is at her own residence ‘Ruchira’.

Rimjhim and Nilanjan know each other since their school days. Rimjhim and Nilanjan were students of Sreerampore Holi Home Co-Education school. Rimjhim was in class six and Nilanjan was of student of class IX when they first met. During those they were friends. Nearly five months ago they again met after a long gap of 17 years and decided to get married.

Rimjhim adnd Nilanjan will go to Thailand for Honeymoon.

Upcoming film of Bappaditya Bandopadhyay – Kolkata 2012

The whole world is getting ready to welcome year 2014 and filmmaker Bappaditya Bandopadhyay has started shooting his film Kolkata 2012. The shotting of the film was earlier stopped due to financial troubles. Title of the film may be changed.

The film is based on number of short stories. In story number 1- Rupa Bhattacharya is in the lead role. Rupa plays the role of a conductor who is trying to become a driver someday. Shooting of this part is completed.

In story number 2 - Rudranil Ghosh and Rimjhim Gupta are in the leading roles. Rimjhim has a peculiar habit of taking a bath whenever there is any emotional trouble. Rudranil Ghosh plays a credit card bill collector in this part of the film.

Shooting of this part is also completed.

Story number 3 is based on a sex worker and Sampoorna Lahiri plays the sex worker. Shooting of this part will start very soon.
