Singer Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury Heckled in School Program

Noted singer Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury was heckled at Dhupguri Kalirhat Dewan Chandra High School on Friday (04 January 2019) by a school teacher of the same school. Somlata said the the teacher was in intoxicated condition. Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury was performing on the school on occasion of Golden Jubilee celebration of the school.

Somlata said that everything was going on smoothly in the function and audiences including school students were enjoying the function but the teacher Arnab Saha was constantly disturbing the artist and her team. Arnab Saha was even on the stage during the program and asked Somlata for her microphone. Arnab Saha was repeatedly asked by Somlata and her team members to leave the stage but he tried to provoke the audience saying that sound system was not good. Somlata said that initially there was troubles in sound system but that was managed and audiences were enjoying the program. 


Arnab Saha threatened Somlata's instrument players saying they would be retained. Anyhow police helped Somlata and her members to leave the function premise.

Bengali celebrity marriages on 23 November 2012

Bengali actor Soham will get married on 23 November. The bride is from Baguihati, Tanaya Pal. For the last six years, Soham and Tanaya were dating each other. This year Tanaya has completed her graduation. The marriage will be in traditional Bengali style. Soham will wear dhoti of maroon colour and kurta. Tanaya Pal will wear special Benarasi saree.

Marriage will be held at Shibangan, near Baguihati Zora mandir. Reception on 25 November at st. paul's cathedral church. Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee and other many state ministers are invited.

Singer Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury will tie the knot on 23 November 2012 with software engineer Akash Roy. Somlata is also a guest lecturer of psychology at the Asutosh College in Kolkata. Akash Roy is working in Gurgaon. Wedding ceremony of Somlata and Akash will be held at Dalmia Bhabhan on 23 November and the reception will be at the same location on 25 November. A special reception will be in Asansol on 29 November. After marriage, Somlata will be at Gurgaon for one and half months and after that she will back to Kolkata to resume her own works. She will manage both Kolkata and Gurgaon.

Dancer Soumili will tir the knot with Ayan Ghosh on 23 November 2012. This is going to be an arranged marriage. Ayan works in a bank. Marriage will be at Parban marriage hall at Tollygunge. Artists from Tollygunge and political personalities are invited in the marriage.
