West Bengal assembly election results of Bhatar constituency



Constituency number: 267

In 2016 assembly election, Subhash Mondal of  Trinamool Congress won Bhatar assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Bamacharan Banerjee of CPI (M). Subhash Mondal got 92,544 votes, Bamacharan Banerjee got 86,264 votes.

In 2011 assembly election, Banamali Hazra of  Trinamool Congress won Bhatar assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Srijit Konar of CPI (M). Banamali Hazra got 83,883 votes, Srijit Konar got 83,585 votes and Dhatripada Konar of BJP got 5,586 votes.
Syed Md. Masih of CPI (M) won this assembly seat in assembly elections 2006 defeating his nearest rival Banamali Hajra of Trinamool Congress.

In 2001 assembly elections, Subhas Mondal of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Banamali Hajra of Trinamool Congress.

In 1996 assembly elections, Subhas Mondal of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Susanta Ghosh of Congress.

In 1991 assembly elections, Mahboob Zahedi of CPI (M) won this assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Bholanath Sen of Congress.

In 1987 assembly elections, Syed Md. Masih of CPI (M) won this assembly seat for the second time in a row defeating his nearest rival Banamali Hazra of Congress.

In 1982 assembly elections, Syed Md. Masih of CPI (M) won this assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Bholanath Sen of Congress.

In 1977 assembly elections, Bholanath Sen of Congress won this assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Saktipada Chattopdahyay of Forward Bloc.

In 1972 assembly elections, Bholanath Sen of Congress won this  Bhatar assembly seat.

In 1971 assembly elections, Anath Bandhu Ghosh of CPI (M) won this assembly seat.

In 1969 assembly elections, Aswini Roy of CPI (M) won this assembly seat.
