Admission Notice 2015 Goenka College of Commerce And Business



Applications are invited from Goenka College of Commerce and Business for admission to 1st year B.Com. Honours Course in Accounting and Finance under the University of Calcutta for the academic session 2015-2016.


Eligibility Criteria


Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary or any other equivalent examination in 2015 as regular candidate with at least five subjects of 100 marks each including English and any one of the following related subjects, viz., Accountancy, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organisation, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office Practice and Secretarial, Financial Accounting, Elements of Cost Accountancy and Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accountancy and Principle of Management.


Minimum marks


For General category Candidates : 75.00% in aggregate and 60.00% in the related subject.

For OBC-A and OBC-B West Bengal only Candidates : 67.50% in aggregate and 54.00% in the related subject.

For SC/ST of West Bengal only Candidates : 56.25% in aggregate and 45.00% in the related subject.

Selection of candidates will be done based on merit and the merit list will be displayed in college website.



Issue and Submission of Forms :


The Application Form will only be available online and the website to follow is www.goenkacollegeadmissions.com. Application fee will have to deposit the online (Rs. 30/-) to the Bank Account No. 1194104000008952 of IDBI Bank in any of its Branches.

Dates of Online Submission of Forms :  01.06.2015 to 14.06.2015
Dates of Deposit of Online Application Fee :  01.06.2015 to 15.06.2015 (10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.)
Date of Publication of Provisional Merit List and Provisional Waiting List :  24.06.2015
