Procedure of Application
1. Subjects offered – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Geography,
History and Bengali.
2. Application Form can be submitted only through online version available at college
website (pg.panskurabanamalicollegeadmission.co.in) from 04.06.2018 to 15.06.2018.
3. Follow the proper instructions for filling up the form.
4. After successful submission of the form, applicant should print the application form for
further reference.
5. After submission of the form, a bank challan (Punjab National Bank) will be generated in the system and applicants must submit Rs. 215.00 to complete the registration for application in PG courses. Online payment system also available.
6. Input of wrong information in the application form will be automatically cancelled by the
college authority without any prior information.
Eligibility Criteria for Application and Entrance System
Arts:
i. 45% marks in Hons. (For Gen. Candidates)
ii. 40% marks in Hons. (For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD candidates)
Science:
i. 50% marks in Hons. (For Gen. Candidates)
ii. 45% marks in Hons. (For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD candidates)
iii. All students (V.U. and other university) have to appear at the Entrance Test and in
that case they have to secure the minimum marks as specified above.
Entrance Procedure:
i. Questions will be of MCQ pattern and answers have to mark on OMR Sheet.
ii. Full Marks- 50; Total no. of Questions-50.
iii. Time-One and a half hour.
iv. Questions will be set in English, except in Bengali subject.
A. For students affiliated to Vidyasagar University:
1. 60% of total seats in each subject will be reserved for the students of Vidyasagar University.
2. The students of Vidyasagar University will have to appear at the Entrance Test as per
schedule of the college published in the college website.
3. Honours candidates of the current session and the immediately preceding session will be
considered equally. In the case of equal marks in Entrance test, total marks / percentage of marks of Honours subject is to be taken into account for ranking
For students of Other University:
1. 40% seats will be available for Open Competition.
2. The students of Vidyasagar University and other universities will have to appear at the
Entrance Test as per schedule of the college published in the college website.
3. Appeared 3rd year Honours students of other universities may apply for open competition
(for 40% seats) but applicants have to submit the self attested photocopy of final examination mark sheet on the date of entrance test.
4. Merit list for 40% seats will be prepared on the basis of minimum eligibility criteria and
marks obtained in the entrance test.
In the case of equal marks in Entrance test (for both 60% and 40% seats), total marks /
percentage of marks of Honours subject is to be taken into account for ranking.
Quota for SC/ ST/ OBC – A, OBC –B and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates will be
considered as per Govt. rule. Merit list will be prepared on the percentage of PWD.
In case of non availability of PWD candidate, the seat reserved for PWD will be converted to
General Category.
Important Date and Time A. Application
i. Submission of Online Application form for admission starts on 04.06.2018
ii. Last date of submission of Online Application form 15.06.2018.
iii. Bank challan must be deposited within 15.06.2018.
B. Publication i. Publication of provisional list for entrance test (for 60% seats) - 18.06.2018
ii. Publication of provisional list for entrance test (for 40% seats) - 18.06.2018
iii. Any objection/correction: Candidates with all original documents personally contact with PG Office on dated 19.06.2018 from 11.30am to 3.30 pm.
iv. Publication of final list for entrance test (for both 60% and 40% seats) - 21.06.2018
