Officers recruitment in Bank of India

Bank of India will recruit 162 persons as ‘Specialist Officers’ in Scale –I and Scale—II under the following categories -  Marketing Officer, Law Officer, IT Officer, Technical Officer, HR/IR Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari and Agriculture Field Officer. Detail information and break up of the vacancies category wise is given below:

 Post: Secialist Officers

 Marketing Officer (Scale—I)

Number of posts: 21 of which ST candidates are 20 and OBC is 1

 Law Officer (Scale—II)

Number of posts: 12 of which general candidates – 5, Sc candidates – 2, ST candidates – 3 and OBC candidates – 2

 IT Officer (Scale—I)

Number of posts: 11  of which general candidates – 5, SC candidates – 1 and OBC candidates – 5

 IT Officer (Scale—II)

Number of posts: 5 of which general candidates – 1, SC candidates – 1, ST candidates – 1 and OBC candidates – 2

 Technical Officer (Appraisal) (Scale-I)

Number of posts: 15 of which general candidates – 2, SC candidates – 3, ST candidates – 4 and OBC candidates – 6

 HR/IR Officer (Scale—I)

Number of posts: 35 of which general candidates – 16, SC candidates – 5, ST candidates – 4 and OBC candidates – 10

 Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale—I)

Number of posts: 25 of which general candidates – 11, SC candidates – 5, ST candidates – 3 and OBC candidates –

 Agriculture Field Officer (Scale-I)

Number of posts: 38 of which general candidates – 3, SC candidates – 14, ST candidates – 16 and OBC candidates

Essential Qualification: Candidates must have required Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) in Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS for the posts of Specialist Officers in March 2012. Experience needed for scale II officers.

Age Limits: For the posts in Scale—I: Age of the candidate must be between 21 years to 30 years as on 1 December 2011.

For the posts in Scale—II: Age of the candidate must be between 21 years to 35 years as on 1 December 2011.
Age relaxation is applicable for OBC candidates by 3 years, SC and ST candidates by 5 years and PH candidates by 10 years.

Pay Scale: Rs.14500—Rs.25700 (for Scale—I) and Rs.19400—Rs.28100 (for Scale—II)
