State Bank of India will recruit  7740 persons both boys and girls as Clerk for its five associate Banks - State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore. To know the details, read this article.

STATE BANK OF BIKANER & JAIPUR

Number of vacancies: 1400 and out of which general candidates – 700, SC – 238, ST – 182, OBC – 280

 STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD

Number of vacancies: 1880 and out of which general candidates – 924, SC – 288, ST – 158, OBC – 510

3. STATE BANK OF MYSORE: 800 Nos. (Gen—407; SC—125; ST—52; OBC—216). Out of them PWD—24nos. and Ex-Serviceman—116nos.

STATE BANK OF PATIALA

Number of vacancies: 1160 and out of which general candidates – 594, SC – 295, ST – 11, OBC – 260

 STATE BANK OF TRAVANCORE

Number of vacancies: 2500 and out of which general candidates – 1482, SC – 295, ST – 63, OBC – 660

Qualification: Candidate should be minimum Higher Secondary pass with 60% marks in aggregate. For  SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-Serviceman candidates a relaxation of 5 % is allowed.

Graduate candidates can also apply. Knowledge in English is essential and knowledge in local language will be an added advantage.

Age limit: Age of candidates must be within 18 to 28 years as on 1 August 2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is by 5 years, OBC by 3 years, PWD by 10 years, widows or divorced women or legally separated women by 9 years.

Pay Scale: Rs.7200—Rs.19300 plus other allowances.

Selection procedures: Selection will be done through written test and interview. Only the qualified candidates from written test will be called for interview.

Date of written examination: 7 October 2012 and 14 October 2012. Syllabus etc will be provided to selected candidates along with call letter.

Application Fee:  Application fee is Rs.350/- . For SC/ST/PWD/Ex-serv candidates, the application fee is Rs. 50/-.Application fee can be deposited from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within 3 working days at any branch of State Bank of India. Online application fee can be made using Credit card/ debit card/ Net banking.
