Sarva Shiksha Mission in Paschim Medinipur will recruit 247 Boys and Girls as ‘Para Teacher’ at Primary Schools in the block of Gopiballavpur—I, Gopiballavpur—II, Binpur—I, Binpur—II, Jhargram, Jamboni, Nayagram, Sankrail Block of Jhargram Sub-division and Midnapore sadar, Salboni and Garhbeta—II block of Midnapore Sadar Sub-division. Post: Para TeacherNumber of vacancies: 247, out of which 50% of posts is reserved for female candidates
Essential Qualification: Higher Secondary pass with 50% marks. Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates.
Candidates must be capable of reading, writing and speaking Santali language & Olchiki script.
Candidates should be residence of territorial jurisdiction of Gram Panchayat under which the Primary School is located.
Age limit: candidates age should be between 18 to 45 years as on 1 January 2012.
Selection procedure: Selection will be done through written test on Santali language and Ol-Chiki Script and viva voce.
Eligible candidates will be selected on contract basis for initially one year and afterwards it may be extended to three years.
How to Apply: Application form can be prepared as per prescribed format on plain paper. The filled in application can be submitted by hand in person in the Drop-Box available in the office of Sarva Siksha Mission, Paschim Medinipur, Khudiram Parikalpana Bhawan (Ground Floor), Paschim Medinipur Zilla Parishad.
