Stewards, Cook and Topass recruitment in Indian Navy

The Indian Navy will recruit unmarried male candidates as ‘Stewards’, ‘Cooks’ and ‘Topasses’. Madhyamik and class VIII pass candidates can apply. Details about the posts and eligibility criteria are given below:

Post: Stewards

Essential Qualification: Madhyamik pass

Post: Cooks

Essential Qualification: Madhyamik pass

Post: Topasses

Essential Qualification: Class VI pass.

Age limits: Age of the candidates should be within 17yrs to 21yrs as on 1^stApril 2012

Pay Scale: During training period, the selected candidates will get Rs. 5700 per month as stipend after completion of training period they will be under pay scale.

Selection procedures: The candidates have to appear in written test, physical fitness test and medical test.
