Dumdum Motijheel Rabindra Mahavidyalaya was established on 5th August, 1968, affiliated to the University of West Bengal State, Barasat and was later named as Dumdum Motijheel College of Commerce. The aim of the college is to provide education on Commerce Degree Courses. To cope up with the emerging demand and need of the society, at local, regional and national level, the college converted itself into a multi-faculty Degree College. The college has shown rapid progress in fulfilling the needs of higher education.
