In the 2021 election of West Bengal, Sabina Yasmin of Trinamool Congress defeated her nearest rival Shyam Chand Ghosh of BJP. Sabina Yasmin got 97,397 votes and Shyam Chand Ghosh got 40,814 votes.
In the 2016 election of West Bengal, Sabina Yasmin of Congress defeated her nearest rival Md. Nazrul Islam of AITC.
In the 2011 election of West Bengal, Sabina Yasmin of Congress defeated her nearest rival Naimuddin Sheikh of CPI(M).
