Ranadiha Picnic Spot in Burdwan


Ranadiha is a famous picnic spot and it is situated under Bud Bud police station. From Panagarh, Ranadiha can be reached easily. River damodar is passing through one side of Ranadiha and on the other side you will see natural green scenary. Famous Kali temple of Bhabani Pathak is located near Ranadiha.

From Burdwan, Mankar railway station can be reached by Burdwan – Asansol local trains. Mankar can be reached by road also following NH2. From Mankar, reach Abhirampur and finally reach Bhalki Machan. From Burdwan station, one can travel by local private bus to reach Abhirampur.

Beloon Picnic Spot in Burdwan District 


Beloon is a small village in Burdwan district and the village is situated on the banks of Shibai river. Migratory birds can be seen at Shibai river during winter. Interested people can enjoy boating on Shibai river. There is a lake close to Beloon Eco village and fishing in this lake is permitted.

How to Reach Beloon Eco village


Firstly reach Katwa. Howrah to Katwa and Sealdah to Katwa trains are available. From Katwa railway station, cars, buses and trains are available to reach Shiblun Halt Station and from there Beloon Eco Village is just 1 km from Shiblun Halt. Distance between Katwa station and Shiblun Halt is 8 kms.
