GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM

1.    Open your own e-mail ID, if you do not have any.

2.    Open BCKV website at  www.bckv.edu.in and click on “Admission” and then choose “Register for on-line Application”.

3.    Give your e-mail ID and a password (this password may be different from your e-mail password).

4.    Then click on “Register” option.

5.    One verification link will be automatically sent to your e-mail ID.

6.    Open your e-mail mailbox and then verify your e-mail ID by clicking on “Verify”.

7.    Again open BCKV website, choose “Admission” and then click on “UG Application 2016”.

8.    Enter your e-mail ID and password (same password at Sl. No.3).

9.    Click OK.

10. Fill in the on-line application form carefully with all the details.

11. Upload a photograph in appropriate place in JPEG file Format (Image size (2.5 Cm X 3.5 CM) (Width X Height) and file size should not exceed 40 KB).

12. Make on-line payment instantly or off-line payment of application fee at any branch of UBI by generating the

“Challan” on-line.

13. One SMS will be sent automatically by the system at your mobile phone and also one confirmation e-mail will be sent to your e-mail ID.

14. Application process is completed after successful submission of application fee.

The merit list shall not be issued individually to the candidates. The merit list along with counseling schedule will be displayed in the Notice Board of the Admission and Scholarship Section at Mohanpur Campus and also in the University Website. The dates of Counseling (in short) will be published in the daily newspapers (Ananda Bazar Patrika and The Times of India and Ei Samay) and the details will be available at the University Website. The admission will be made only on the basis of merit list on the same date after counselling.

^v          All the candidates must be a permanent domicile of West Bengal. In case of ICAR’s nominees, this clause shall not be applicable.

^v          The reservation of seats as per State Govt. declared policy will be followed for specific type of physically handicapped individuals who fulfil the minimum Physical Fitness, essential to take theory and practical courses.

^v           Candidates having proficiency in Sports and Games can apply under Sports Quota for B.Sc.(Ag.) Hons. Course only.

^v           Minimum eligibility for Sports Quota: 

Representation of District at Inter District level or equivalent tournaments in Cricket /Football/ Badminton/ Volley ball organised by the District Sports Association or similar other organization is required. Certificates in the prescribed proforma may be downloaded separately and to be submitted after filling the form from the appropriate authority along with the photocopy of District players’ Identity Card at the time of verification of the same, following which the Sports Trial will be held.

The candidates must be of good health and capable of undertaking extensive fieldwork. The selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination before admission.
