Sathyabama University of Chennai invites application from eligible students for All India Level Entrance Examination 2016 for admission to 4-years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and 5-years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programs offered in various disciplines for the session 2016-17.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.E Program: Candidates should have passed HSC (10+2) from any state board/ CBSE/ ICSE with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with an average of 60% marks and above (in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry)

For B.Tech Program: Candidates should have passed 10+2/HSC/ICSE or equivalent exam with Biology/Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with an average of 60% marks and above(in Biology/Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry)

For B.Arch Program: Candidates should have passed HSC (10+2) from any state board or CBSE with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with an average mark of 50%, English as one of the language subjects and should have appeared NATA exam

BDS Program: Candidate should have passed in HSC (10+2) from any state board or CBSE/ICSE with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Biology, Physics and Chemistry (As per DCI Norms)

Candidate opting for this program should appear for Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry in the entrance exam

Entrance Exam

Based on 12 class syllabus entrance exam will be conducted in Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. All candidates must appear for Physics & Chemistry

Selection Procedure

The admission to BE/B.Tech/B.Arch/BDS programs is done solely on the basis of the performance in the All India B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/BDS Entrance Exam 2016 conducted by Sathyabama University

The candidates will be shortlisted and called for Counselling, based on their performance in the entrance exam 2016; on the day of counselling, the branch of study will be allotted depending on the availability of seat and provisional admission order will be issued on the same day

Eligible candidates can get the application form on payment of Rs.1000/- at Sathyabama University campus and major Indian Bank Branches throughout India, DD for Rs.1100/- drawn in favour of Sathyabama University, payable th at Chennai
