Sainik School Rewari Entrance Exams 2018 for Class VI and IX Boys

Applications are invited for admission in Class VI & Class IX for Boys only who qualify the below mentioned eligibility conditions for appearing in All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for the academic session 2018-19

All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) for admissions into classes VI & IX for the Academic session 2018-19 will be conducted on 07th January 2018 (Sunday).

This year All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) has been included OMR based application form

Eligibility Criteria

Admission to Sainik School Rewari is offered to boys only in class VI & IX. The candidates born between 02nd Jul 2007 and 01st Jul 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible for admission to class VI and boys born between 02nd Jul 2004 and 01st Jul 2005 (both days inclusive) for admission to class IX

OMR Based Exam

This year All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) has been changed over from descriptive exam to OMR Based exam. The pattern of the questions papers for both class VI & IX  is given below:

(a) Class VI

(i) Maths – 50; Duration: 60

(ii) General Knowledge (Sc &aSST) – 25; Duration: 30

(iii) Language 25; Duration: 30

(iv) Intelligence – 25; Duration: 30

Total - 125 Marks; Duration: 150

(b) Class IX

i) Maths - 50; Duration: 60

(ii) English – 25; Duration: 30

(iii) Intelligence - 25; Duration: 30

(iv) General Science – 25; Duration: 30

(v) Social Science – 25; Duration: 30

Total – 150 Marks; Duration: 180

Reservation

15% and 7 ½ % seats are reserved for SC & ST candidates respectively.  Out of the remaining, 67 % of the seats will be reserved for home state. Balance 33% left over seats will be thrown open to boys from other states and UT in ration of their male population

25% seats are also reserved for the boys of service personal including ex-servicemen

Exam Centre

Written exam of All Indian Sainik School Entrance Exam for Sainik School Rewari will be conducted at different government/public school located in Rewari
