Eligibility

Only female candidates are eligible for admission to the science graduate courses.

Candidates enrolling for various courses at JDBI must have good knowledge of the English Language.

A candidate seeking admission to three year B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food Science & Nutrition Management / Home Science / Human Development / Interior Designing / Textile Science, Clothing & Fashion Studies of the Institute must have passed Class-XII examination of any recognised Board / Council recognized by Jadavpur University with a combination of five recognised subjects of which at least one is English and securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Further, the student must have passed Science and Mathematics at the Class-X examination of any Board / Council recognised by Jadavpur University.

Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates for B.Sc. courses would be short-listed on the basis of merit.
