Rules And Elligibility
  1. Passed H. S. / equivalent level examination in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018.
  2. At least 45% marks in HS (Equivalent level) examination required for Honours application.
  3. At least pass marks (30%) in aggregate in HS (Equivalent level) examination required for BA/B Sc General Course application.
  4. In practical based subjects pass marks to be obtained separately in theory and practical parts.
  5. Merit point Calculation:
    • Merit Point for Honours courses (M) = Y + Z
    • Merit Point for General courses (M) = Y
      * Y=% of marks obtained at HS/Equivalent level ( Marks of best performing language and best performing three elective subjects to be taken into account. Marks of Environmental Studies won't be counted)
      * Z =% of marks obtained at HS/Equivalent level in the Honours seeking subject/ allied subject.

  6. No marks will be deducted from merit point for year lapse i.e. for passing in 2015, 2016 & 2017.
  7. After form filling applicants should get a printout of the submitted form. They are to carefully make a scrutiny of the same.
  8. In case any data error in any field is found, the applicant is to ''Log in'' and correct the error by using Edit facility within the last date of application.
  9. In case of oversight of error on the part of the student and detection of the same after the publication of Merit List, the applicant may apply for correction which may be entertained only after the end of that particular cycle.
  10. Admission will be made Cycle wise, each cycle comprising four Phases.
  11. The provisional admission is to be ultimately approved by the affiliating University (BU) to which every admitted student is to apply for Registration and Enrolment. The college cannot be held responsible if the Board issuing certificate of passing is not recognized by competent authority.
  12. Reservation as per rule: UR 55%, SC 22%, ST 6%, OBC-A 10% & OBC-B 7% (PWD 3% subject-wise, not category-wise.). Sports quota as per University guideline
  13. Reserved category applicants having merit point equivalent with that of applicants of unreserved category will be treated as ''Unreserved'' and the reservation benefit will be available to those of appropriate category as per rule and rank in the merit list.
