SELECTION LIST FOR ADMISSION TO CLASS XI

The following stude nts have been provisionally selected for admission to class XI (2019- 20). The concerned students along with their guar dians (either of the parents may come) should repor t to the SchoolOffice positively by 11 am on 30 May 2019. After the meeting, the guardians may arrange for their wards' admission on the same day by 4 pm. Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the seat. The payment is to be made by Demand Draft (for outside students) / Cheque (for our students) or Card for Rs. 38,000/- issued in f avour of "RKMA Vidyalaya Students' Home, Narendrapur".

Online application form and Prospectus for admission to class XI (2019-20) will be available only for download from school website for four days (excluding Sundays and holidays) from the day of publication of results of the Madhyamik Pariksha, 2019. Madhyamik Results will be published on May 21, 2019.

Rupees 600/-(Cash or Cards) to be deposited at the time of submission of Forms.

Aptitude Test: 26.05.2019 (Sunday) from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

Result is expected to be published: 30.05.2019 (Thursday) at 4 p.m. 

The selected candidates along with their guardians should report for admission on 31.05.2019 (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Vidyalaya (Senior Section) and complete the admission formalities before 1 p.m. on 01.06.2019 (Saturday). Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the seat.

Fees & charges of Rs. 38,000/- to be paid at the time of admission by Pay Order or Demand Draft in favour of RKMAV Students’ Home, Narendrapur. All types of Cards are also accepted.

Arrival at the Hostel: Wednesday, 19 June 2019 (before 5 pm)

Those not selected are asked to collect their Admit Cards on 24 May, 2019 from Vidyalaya Office between 11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. for Aptitude Test (on 26 May, 2019)

The selected candidates along with their guardians should report for admission on 24.05.2019 (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Vidyalaya (Senior Section) and complete the

admission formalities before 1 p.m. on 25.05.2019 (Saturday). Failure to do so will

result in the forfeit of the seat.

Fees & charges of Rs. 38,000/- to be paid at the time of admission by A/c Payee

cheque or Demand Draft in favour of RKMAV Students’ Home, Narendrapur. All types of Cards are also accepted.

For Outside Students

Only few selected students from other schools passing the Secondary Level Examination from WBBSE /CBSE/ ICSE in the year 2018 may be admitted to the Science Stream after an Aptitude Test. Medium of Instruction: English. Subjects offered: Bengali / Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics,Biology / Statistics.

2. Students willing to apply must secure at least 285 marks out of 300 in the Science Group and 150 marks out of 200 in the Language Group. Students, having faith in the objectives of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, physically fit and mentally prepared to stay in this Residential School and have the inclination towards living and studying on their own, may apply.

3. A written Aptitude Test in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be held within a week or so from the date of publication of Madhyamik Results. The Written Test will be of 3 (three) hours duration (one hour each for each subject) and will carry 50 marks each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students should have a good knowledge of the basic concepts and fundamentals of the subjects taught in the Secondary Level. A brief outline of the syllabus is given over leaf.

4. ONLINE: Application form and Prospectus for admission to class XI (2019-20) will be available only for download (please use 75 GSM A4 size white paper) from our website for four days (excluding Sundays and holidays) from the day of publication of results of the Madhyamik Pariksha, 2019. The filled application form along with all necessary documents and Rs. 600.00 (Rupees six hundred only) (Cash) should be submitted by hand in our school office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on all working days within two days from the last date of issue of application forms. Application forms send through post / courier won’t be accepted. Candidates are required to collect the AdmitCard of the Aptitude Test at the time of submission of the Application Form.

5. Documents to be submitted along with the application form:
i) SC/ST/OBC Certificate, if applicable;
ii) Self-attested photocopy of the Registration Certificate, Admit Card, Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate of the Secondary Examination;

iii) Certificates regarding co-curricular activities, if any.
iv) Original Mark Sheet, Registration Certificate and Admit Card to be shown at the time of application form submission.
v) Aadhaar Card.

6. List of selected students will be published within a week of the Aptitude Test.

7. Fees & Charges: Rs. 4,000/- per month and annual charges of Rs. 10000/-. Additional fees for tutorial classes are applicable. Details of fees and charges can be had from the School office or from our website.

8. Special tutorial classes, mock tests etc are arranged by the Vidyalaya to prepare our students for various competitive examinations. No permission to take tuitions or for attending mock tests outside the school campus is given.

9. All the students are expected to wear dresses supplied by the Vidyalaya in Bhavanas also.


10. Financial concession may be given to a few deserving students only.
