Eligibility Criteria
1. ForthepurposeofdeterminingeligibilityforadmissiontotheMajorCourse,
AGGREGATEMARKSSHALLBECALCULATEDBYADDINGTHE
MARKS IN TOP-FOUR SUBJECTS in order of marks secured by a candidate.However,marksincompulsoryEnvironmentalEducation/Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject “Environmental Science” is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.

Applicants should have passed in FOUR subjects of
100 marks each andpassed the H. S./ Equivalent examination as a whole.

ApplicantsmusthavepassedinEnglish(atleast100marks)

Applicants of Major subjects having same merit index
will be ranked as pertheir marks in subject / related subject. If deadlock
still persists, candidatewho applied first will be entertained.
4.
Candidates must have passed from a Board /
Council recognized by theUniversity of Calcutta.
