ndian Railways has introduced a set of summer special trains on key routes connecting major cities such as Howrah, Kolkata, Khatipura, Madar Junction, Sabarmati BG, Asansol, Jabalpur, and Jodhpur. These services will run on select dates and offer a range of travel classes to meet different passenger needs.
Khatipura–Howrah Summer Special
Train No. 09707 will depart from Khatipura at 5:00 pm on April 15, 22, and 29, reaching Howrah at 10:15 pm the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 09708 will leave Howrah at 12:15 am on April 17, 24, and May 1, arriving at Khatipura at 11:30 am the following day. The train will stop at major stations including Durgapur and Asansol and will have both sleeper and AC coaches.
Madar Junction–Kolkata Special
Train No. 09605 will run from Madar Junction at 10:45 am on April 17, 24, and May 1, reaching Kolkata at 9:50 pm the next day. Train No. 09606 will depart Kolkata at 12:50 am on April 19, 26, and May 3, arriving at Madar Junction at 2:00 pm the next day. This train will halt at Durgapur and Asansol and offer general, sleeper, and AC classes.
Sabarmati BG–Asansol Special
Train No. 09435 will leave Sabarmati BG at 10:55 pm on April 17 and 24, reaching Asansol at 1:15 pm on the third day. Train No. 09436 will depart Asansol at 4:10 pm on April 19 and 26, arriving at Sabarmati BG at 7:15 am on the third day. This service will be fully air-conditioned, ensuring added comfort for long-distance travel.
Jabalpur–Howrah Special
Train No. 01701 will depart Jabalpur at 7:20 pm on April 14, 21, and 28, reaching Howrah at 10:15 pm the next day. Train No. 01702 will leave Howrah at 12:15 am on April 16, 23, and 30, arriving in Jabalpur at 4:00 am the next day. The train will stop at Durgapur and Asansol and include both sleeper and AC coaches.
Jodhpur–Asansol Special
Train No. 04819 will depart Jodhpur at 5:00 pm on April 14, 21, and 28, reaching Asansol at 4:55 am on the third day. Train No. 04820 will leave Asansol at 7:55 am on April 16, 23, and 30, arriving in Jodhpur at 6:45 pm the next day.
