Eligibility Criteria for Assam JMEE 2020 |

1. |
Should possess a
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging
to reserved category) |

The candidates
should have studied and passed in Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level. |
|||||
|
3. |
Candidates who will
be appearing in their final examination are also eligible to apply. |

Gauhati University B.Ed Common Entrance Test 2019
Gauhati University invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for admission into B.Ed course on the basis of entrance test 2019.
GUBEDCET 2019
Gauhati University announces Admission to B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) curses. The Gauhati University for all the colleges recognized by the NCTE and affiliated to Gauhati University will centrally conduct the entrance.

Total questions in the GUBEDCET-2019: 100
Duration of the GUBEDCET-2019: 2 hours 30 minutes

Section-A: General English (Vocabulary, Tense, Voice, Narration, Prepositions, Correction of sentences, Comprehension): 120 marks
Section-B: General Knowledge (Indian History, Indian Polity, General Science, Current affairs): 120 marks
Section-C: Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability: 120 marks
Section-D: Current Indian Education (Issues and Policies) National Policy on Education 1986, Universalization of Elementary Education- Right to Education, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Secondary Education-Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA): 40 marks

Assam GNM Entrance Examination 2018-19
Applications are invited from the female candidates for Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Science Assam for selection of candidates for admission into GNM Course in the GNM Training Schools under the Govt. of Assam for the session 2018-19.
Important Dates
Online Application Starts Date: 10th December 2018
Online Application Ends: 31st December 2018
Date of Examination: 03rd February 2019
Admit Card to be Available from: 20th January 2019
Exam Centre/s: The Entrance Test is going to be held at Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta and Tezpur.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be female candidate.
Candidates must be citizen of India
Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must furnish a certificate to this effect.
The provision of Permanent Resident Certificate shall not be applicable to the wife/daughters of the employees of the Govt. of Assam.
The minimum educational qualification for selection of candidates is (a) HSSCL (10+2) or its equivalent examination passed preferably Science (PCB) and English with aggregate of 40% marks (b) 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health Care Science - Vocational Stream only, passing out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSC/HSCE or other Equivalent Board with 40% marks.(c) 10+2 Vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other Equivalent Board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
Age: Candidates must be within the age limit of 17 years to 24 years as on 01st January of the year of admission. The upper age limit for SC/ST candidates will be as per Govt. procedure.
Scheme of Exam
The Examination shall be for 100 Marks (100 Questions x 01 Mark each)
There will be 25 question from each of the subjects of:
(a) English
(b) General Science
(c) General Mathematics
(d) Social Studies with 01 (one) mark for each question

Summer Special Trains between Somnath and Puri
To manage extra rush during summer vacation 2017, Western
Rly will run Somnath-Puri (Weekly) holiday special train on special fare as per
the details given as under :-
09207/09208 Somnath-Puri (Weekly) Special Train on
Special Fare (16 trips)
Train No. 09207 Somnath – Puri (Weekly) Special train will
start from Somnath at 07.20 hrs on every Saturday and reach Puri at 10.05 hrs on
every Monday from 13th May to 1st July, 2017.
Similarly, in return direction Train No.09208 Puri –
Somnath (Weekly) Special train will start from Puri at 19.45 hrs on every
Wednesday and will reach Somnath at 21.00 hrs on every Friday from 17th May to
5th July, 2017.
Composition:
The
train will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and General Second class
coaches.
Route:
The
train will halt at Veraval, Keshod, Junagadh, Jetalsar, Virpur, Gondal, Bhakti
Nagar, Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendra Nagar, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara,
Bharuch, Surat, Nandurbar, Amalner, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon,
Akola, Badnera Jn, Wardha Jn, Nagpur, Gondia Jn, Raj Nandgaon, Durg, Raipur,
Mahasamund, Kariar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Rayagada,
Vizianagaram, Ichchapuram, Brahmapur, Balugaon and Khurda Road stations in both
directions.

Train No. 09031 Bandra (T) – Bhuj (Bi-weekly) Superfast
Special train will start from Bandra (T) at 23.55 hrs on Monday and Wednesday
and reach Bhuj at 14.50 hrs on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. This train
will run on 24 April 2017, 26 April 2017, 01 May 2017 and 03 May 2017.
Similarly, in return direction Train No.09032 Bhuj –
Bandra (T) (Bi-weekly) Superfast Special train will start from Bhuj at 19.30
hrs on Tuesday and Thursday and will reach Bandra (T) at 10.20 hrs on Wednesday
and Friday respectively. This train will run on 25 April 2017, 27 April 2017,
02 May 2017 and 04 May 2017.
Composition:
The
train will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and General Second class
coaches.
Route:
The
train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad,
Samakhiali, Bhachau and Gandhidham stations in both directions.

Assembly elections schedule of West Bengal and other four states and union territory announced
Assembly elections 2016 schedule of 4 states - West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and union territory Puducherry will be announced soon. It is expected that there will be 6 phase polls in West Bengal and in other four states, the elections will be either one of two phase.
Main features
Total 800 company central force will be employed for the election out of which 500 company is alone for West Bengal. Total 824 assembly seats will go for election.
Election code of conduct is applicable from today in the four states and one union territory.
Photo voter slip and voter id card are to be produced by voters during the voting process.
Candidates photo will be displayed on EVM machine.
Counting of votes of all states will be on 19 May.
NOTA button will be in EVM.
Total polling booth in West Bengal: 77 thousand 247
In all polling booths in West Bengal and Assam, there will be central force.
