Konkan Railway has announced Ganpati Special train between Madgaon Goa and CSMT Mumbai. Train No.01152 will depart from Madgaon Junction (MAO) at 03:15 hrs and arrive CSMT Mumbai at 17:45 hrs on the same day. This Goa Mumbai Ganpati Special Train will run daily from 13/09/2023 to 02/10/2023.

2023 Durga Puja Diwali Chhath Ganpati Special Trains

In this article all the Durga Puja, Diwali, Chhath and Ganapati special trains 2023 of different zones of India are posted. Train routes, opening of booking tickets, composition of trains etc can be viewed by simply click on the links.

This year the Durga Puja is at the end of October. October 20 Sixth. Railways had opened the Puja booking counter four months earlier. Even on Puja holidays, railway booking counters are being kept open on Sunday mornings, anticipating that the pressure may increase in Eastern Railway's Howrah-Sealdah zone. Railways issued a statement in this regard on Thursday.

During this time the demand for long distance fast and medium fast trains increases. Especially North Bengal bound fast trains. As such, Railways estimates that the demand for Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Bandh Bharat, Darjeeling Mail, Padatik Express will be high this time as well. Again, there is a tendency to go from Bengal to Delhi, Shimla, Kashmir during Puja. In that case, the demand for fast train tickets like Rajdhani Express, Dun Express, Kalka Mail is seen to increase.

Eastern Railway Authority has decided that 34 ticket reservation centers of Sealdah division and all ticket reservation centers of Howrah division, besides ticket reservation centers of Kolkata, Jadavpur, Sonarpur, Barasat, Baruipur, Naihati, Tollygunge will remain open on Sunday morning for the time being. The ticket reservation center will be open every Sunday from 25 June to 16 July from 8 am to 2 pm.
