Indo-Canadian actress Lisa Ray married banking executive Jason Dehni on 20 October 2012.
Famous designer Satya Paul designed her wedding saree and the same sare will auctioned on line in Satya Paul facebook account. Lisa Ray said that the collected money from the saree auction will be spend for charity.

Sonam Kapoor will auction her 50 dresses

Sonam Kapoor will auction 50 dresses of her and the collected money will be spend for poor children. Parnia Kureshi, designer and friend of Sonam is with her for this noble work. The auction will be online from Kusheri’s site ‘pop-up shop’. The entire collected money will be utilized for education purpose of poor children through ‘Smile Foundation’.

Lisa Ray marriage on 20 October – on the auspicioud day of beginning of Durga Puja

Model turned actress Lisa Ray has planned her mariage on 20 October. 20 October is the beginning of Durga Puja 2012. The date of marriage and the beginning of Durga Puja is not coincidental, it is planned with keeping in mind that the beginning day of Durga Puja is considered as one of the most auspicious date for Bengalis.

Lisa Ray was born on 4 April 1972 to a Bengali Hindu father and a Polish mother. In April 2010 Lisa Ray recovered fully from dreaded disease cancer following a stem cell transplant.

Lisa Ray will tie the knot with banking executive Jason Dehni and the wedding ceremony will be at Napa Valley. In the wedding both the Indian and Lebanese traditions will be followed. Lisa Ray’s wedding dress will be designed by famous designer Wendell Rodricks. Till now it is planned that after marriage the couple will go to the Bora Bora island for their honeymoon.
