Anand Ahuja is the Business Development in-charge at Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd, CEO at Bhane and the director of Camp SMA Pvt Ltd. An entrepreneur and a model. Anand Ahuja is from Delhi and they first met at Akshay Kumar’s party for Will Smith last year. Anand Ahuja had recently accompanied Sonam to the National Award ceremony.

Hindi film Neerja is doing well in box office. Film Neerja is released on 19 February and on the beginning day, the film has done good business. On the first day the film has done a box office collection of 4.7 crore. On 20 February, Saturday the same trend is seen and the film will stay on the box office for many more days. and the film is based on the actual hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi,
Pakistan. Flight attendant Neerja Bhanot sacrificed her life for the lives of
her passengers.

The film is based on the life of flight attendant Neerja
Bhanot who was shot dead by terrorists who hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi
on 5 September 1986.
Neerja Bhanot was the senior flight purser in Pan Am
Flight 73 flying from Mumbai to the USA and the plane was hijacked by four
armed men at Karachi airport in Pakistan. There were 400 passengers. The
terrorist wanted to redirect the plane towards Israel and crash it into a
building. The pilot, co-pilot and the flight engineer evacuated the aircraft so
that the aircraft could not be forcibly flown. Neerja Bhanot took charge.
The hijackers tried to identify the American passengers through
passports but Neerja Bhanot and the other attendants hid the passports of the
41 Americans on board.
After 17 hours, the hijackers opened fire and set off
explosives. Neerja Bhanot opened the emergency door and assisted all the
passengers to escape. Neerja was shot by the hijackers and from a total of 41
American passengers, only 2 were killed during firing. One of the children,who
was in that flight and then aged 7, is
now a captain for a major airline and has stated that Neerja Bhanot has been
his inspiration and he owes every day of his life to her.
Neerja Bhanot is the youngest recipient of the Ashok
Chakra Award, India's most prestigious gallantry award for bravery during peace
time.
Sonam Kapoor said that she has been also a victim of racism. Sonam said: “Intolerance is a very broad term. I have faced racism in many countries. They see brown skin and they judge you already. When I go abroad people already have their perception, like we are always in parda (veil) or our parents are very conservative. It is a pity to see that racism is so ingrained in our society even today. What we need is a dialogue and a pragmatic approach to fight it out."

2015. Recently Sonam Kapoor was in
Rajkot for shooting of one of her upcoming films, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The actress is admitted into
Sterling Hospital on 150 ft Ring Road in Rajkot. On 27 February,
Sonam Kapoor was rushed to hospital after she complained of viral fever.
The hospital source said: “She is under observation in isolation ward at the
hospital. Primarily it seems that she got infection from Mumbai as her trainer
is also infected with swine flu and is under treatment in Mumbai."
Sonam’s mother has reached Rajkot and she may
take her daughter back to Mumbai.
Indo-Canadian actress Lisa Ray married banking executive Jason Dehni on 20 October 2012.
