This was suspected since long that Bollywood actress Kajol would make her comeback in films but the question was when and where? Kajol is making her comeback but her comeback film is a Kollywood one. Kajol will work in Tamil film Velaiyilla Pattathari 2 opposite Dhanush.

This film would be Kajol's second Tamil film after her Kollywood debut in Minasara Kanavu in 1997. Arvind Swamy and Prabhu Deva were the other actors in the film and it was a box office hit film. Soundarya Rajinikanth will direct the film Velaiyilla Pattathari 2. Sean Roldan will be scoring music for the film Velaiyilla Pattathari 2.

Film Visaranai is Indian entry for Oscars in Foreign Language Category

Visaranai, the Tamil crime thriller film has been chosen India’s official entry to Best Foreign Language Film category at Oscars to be held in 2017.

The national award-winning film Visaranai is directed by Vetrimaran, and produced by actor Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. The main story of the film is based on four migrant workers who suffer police brutality and corruption after being jailed on false charges.

Part of the film is based on true events recorded in novel Lock Up, written by M. Chandrakumar, an auto rickshaw driver from Coimbatore.

Main roles in the film Visaranai are played by Dinesh Ravi, Samuthirakani, Kishore, Ajay Ghosh, Anandhi and Aadukalam Murugadoss.

Tamil film Uttama Villain is based on last wish of the filmy superstar Manoranjan. Monoranjan comes to know that he has only a few days to live and approaches his mentor, director Margadarisi to direct his next project where he would act for the last time. The last film of Manoranjan is going to be a folklore-ish comedy about a man who keeps cheating death and his role in saving a kingdom.

In the film, Manoranjan’s wife Varalakshmi moves out of the house with his son and the superstar comes to know about his grown-up daughter from his lady love Yamini. Manoranjan had to leave to marry Varalakshmi. 

In the film within film titles Uttama Villain, Manoranjan plas the role of Uttama who is mistaken to be immortal, and a devious king.
