Story of the film Shankhachil

Film Shankhachil is based on a story by Goutam Ghose and Sayantani Pututandu. Shankhachil is a story of the physical and emotional journey of a family along the Indo-Bangladesh border. The film tells the story of brave BSF and BGB personnel’s guarding their respective countries.

Shooting of the film Shankhachil has been completed and the film is expected to be released in April this year. Shooting locations of the film were mainly Dhaka and Kolkata.

Byomkesh Phire Elo and Badshahi Angti- Abir vrs Abir

Two most awaited Bengali films will be released on 19 December this year and it is expected that Bengali film audiences will enjoy the films in this Christmas. Badshahi Angti of Sandip Ray and Anjan Dutta’s Byomkesh Phire Elo – two films on detective plot will be released during this Christmas. There is another common feature in those two films – Abir Chatterjee is in the lead roles of both the films. Abir has played the role of Byomkesh in many Anjan Dutta films but Badshahi Angti will be Abir’s debut film in Feluda series.The tussle between Feluda and Byomkesh will be most interesting in this Christmas.

Story of Byomkesh Phire Elo

Byomkesh Phire Elo is the final part of the Byomkesh trilogy by Anjan Dutta. The previous films on Byomkesh by Anjan Dutta were Byomkesh Bakshi and Abar Byomkesh. Byomkesh Phire Elo is based on the story Beni Sanghar by novelist Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay.

In the film Byomkesh Phire Elo, Benimadhab is a businessman who has a fear of being murdered by someone although he has no idea about the suspected killer. Benimadhab appointed Byomkesh to solve the situation and the detective stars his work with his assistant Ajit. In the course of investigation by Byomkesh, some dark sides of Benimadhab’s family come out.

The Bengali film Bedroom is based on the story of three young couples from Kolkata and the problems they face in their daily life. One couple of this movie is Abir Chatterjee and Paoli Dam of Chhtrak fame. Abir is currently jobless as he has lost his job. Abir can not reveal the fact to his ill-tempered wife Paoli Dam. Daily Abir goes out of his house as if going to duty. He spends the entire time in coffee shop and returns back to home in perfect time.

The other couple is Rudra Rudranil Ghosh and Ushasie. Rudra Rudranil Ghosh is an actor and he met journalist Ushasie for the first time in an interview session. From that time relationship between them started and ultimately they got married. The only problem with this couple is that they are too sincere towards their commitments.
