Eligibility Criteria

Candidates passing Higher Secondary Examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent Board / Council (List of the Board/Councils are listed below) in the year 2013/2014/2015 are eligible to apply for General course in Arts group with subjects 1. Bengali, 2. English, 3. History, 4. Philosophy, 5. Political Science, 6. Physical Education, 7. Education, 8. Geography 9. Economics 10. Sanskrit and in Science group with the subjects 1. Physics, 2. Chemistry 3. Mathematics 4. Computer Science provided that the candidate must have passed in 5(Five)/ 4(Four) (where applicable) recognized subjects including at least one language subject.
