As per latest news four films of Tanusree Chakraborty will be released in 2017. The films are Arindam Sil's 'Durga Sohay', Suman Maitra's 'God Uncle', Satrajit Sen's 'Michael' and Partha Chakraborty's 'Samantaral'.

In film Durga Sohay, the main artists are Dipankar De, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, Tonushree Chakraborty, Indrasish Roy, Bratya Basu and Anirban Bhattacharya, among others.

The story of film Durga Sohay revolves around the aristocratic Basak family and their north Kolkata mansion. The timeline stretches from Mahalaya to Dashami and captures the Durga Puja in the Basak home. Durga is a nurse who comes to the Basak house to look after the head of the family but she is accused of theft. Bratya and Indrasish play the elder and younger sons of the family respectively. Tanusree plays the chhoto bou of Basak family and she is very close to her father-in-law.

Sohini is Durga and Dipankar De is the head of the family in film Durga Sohay.

In film God Uncle - co stars of Tanusree are Saheb Bhattacharya, Kharaj Mukherjee, June Malia and others. The film revolves around an autistic child, played by child actor Saptarshi

In film Michael, co stars of Tanusree are  Soumitra Chatterjee, Mir, Swastika Mukherjee, Arunima Ghosh, Sayani Datta and others.

Easel-An Atrayee Nirman Initiative announced the third film of their production named Baranda. The film is based on a story by ace Bengali writer Moti Nandi.

Reshmi Mitra is the directror of the film and the story of a character's lifelong wait on the metaphorical 'balcony of life' having lost everything.

Rituparna Sengupta is playing the main female character in film Baranda.

This is going to be Rituparna Sengupta's second film with Reshmi Mitra and also her second film on story of Moti Nandi.

Rudranath is another character in the film Parapaar who was sentenced to jail for 14 years in charge of a rape and murder case. Shooting of Bengali film Parapar started at Dhurjati Dham

Sanjoy Nag has started shooting of his next film Parapar at famous Dhurjati Dham, in Belgachia.  Satyajit Ray used Dhurjati Dham in his films - Chiriakhana and Strir Patra.

Film Parapar is based on a novel written by Moti Nandi. Rubel and Rituparna Sengupta shot a quarrel sequence at Dhurjati Dham. Rituparna is playing the role of Damini, a simple homemaker who transforms into a strong woman after her husband goes to jail. Rubel is playing the role of Damini’s husband.

Rubel is a theatre actor from Bangladesh and Rituparna Sengupta is pleased with Rubel’s performance.

Bratya Basu and Paoli Dam are also in film Parapar.

This is a very dangerous sign and all of us have to think over it.
