Marathi actress Smita Talwalkar dies of cancer

Veteran Marathi actress Smita Talwalkar is no more in this world. Smita Talwalkar died today morning - 6 August 2014, Wednesday morning at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. Smita Talwalkar was suffering from ovarian cancer. The actress was 58 years old.

According to Jaslok Hospital authority, Smita Talwalkar died at 2.30 a.m in the hospital.

Smita was treated for cancer six years ago but the disease recurred after sometime and she was treated again. She responded quite well to the treatment and faced this disease with great courage. Smita's condition was very serious on 5 August 2014 and this morning she passed away.

Bollywood actor Ritest and Genelia tied the knot on 3 February 2012 according to Marathi traditional ritual. Many VVIPs from both Bollywood and politics were present in the marriage of the Bollywood couple.
