In 2019 Lok Sabha election, Mahua Moitra of Trinamool Congress defeated her nearest rival Kalyan Chaubey of BJP. Mahua Moitra got 614,872 votes and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Kalyan Chaubey got 5,51,654 votes
    
 In 2014 Lok Sabha election, Tapas Paul of Trinamool Congress defeated his nearest rival Shantanu Jha of CPI (M). Tapas Paul got 438,789 votes and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Shantanu Jha got 367,534 votes

In 2009 Lok Sabha election, Tapas Paul of Trinamool Congress defeated his nearest rival Jyotirmoyee Sikdar of CPI (M). Tapas Paul got 443,679 votes and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Jyotirmoyee Sikdar got 366,293 votes.
In 2004 Lok Sabha election, Jyotirmoyee Sikdar of CPI (M) defeated her nearest rival Satyabrata Mukherjee of BJP  and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Jyotirmoyee Sikdar got 42.73% of votes and Satyabrata Mukherjee got 40.54% of votes.
 In 1999 Lok Sabha election, Satyabrata Mukherjee of BJP  defeated his nearest rival Dilip Chakraborty of CPI (M) and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Satyabrata Mukherjee got 43.82% of votes and Dilip Chakraborty got 41.16% of votes.

In 1998 Lok Sabha election, Ajoy Mukherjee of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Satyabrata Mukherjee of BJP and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Ajoy Mukherjee got 42.03% of votes and Satyabrata Mukherjee got 37.44% of votes.


In 1996 Lok Sabha election, Ajoy Mukherjee of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya of Congress and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Ajoy Mukherjee got 45.94% of votes and Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya got 41.56% of votes.

In 1991 Lok Sabha election, Ajoy Mukherjee of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya of Congress and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Ajoy Mukherjee got 43.33% of votes and Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya got 35.37% of votes.

In 1989 Lok Sabha election, Ajoy Mukherjee of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya of Congress and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Ajoy Mukherjee got 46.31% of votes and Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya got 44.14% of votes.

In 1984 Lok Sabha election, Renupada Das of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Sankar Das Banerjee of Congress and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Renupada Das got 49.25% of votes and Sankar Das Banerjee got 48.45% of votes.


In 1980 Lok Sabha election, Renupada Das of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Sankar Das Banerjee of Congress and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Renupada Das got 50.81% of votes and Sankar Das Banerji got 36.74% of votes.

In 1977 Lok Sabha election, Renupada Das of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Shibsankar Banerjee of Congress and won the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency seat. Renupada Das got 61.86% of votes and Shibsankar Banerjee got 33.43% of votes.
